Suhoski, Morse reprimanded by selectmen

Slow Willard Road work lands officials in hot water

June 27, 2012
STURBRIDGE — Town Administrator Shaun Suhoski and DPW Director Greg Morse were rebuked by selectmen on June 25 for the town's failure to remove three large tree stumps from the sides of Willard Road.

More than a year after the tornado struck Willard Road, residents and selectmen are frustrated that the stumps from town owned trees still have not been removed. Board Chairman Thomas Creamer expressed those frustrations to Suhoski and Morse, informing them that no explanation could justify their inability to address this issue over the last year.

Creamer said the fault does not lie entirely with Morse, whose work is overseen by Suhoski.
