STURBRIDGE — Guests visiting the Town Common on Saturday, June 23 were transported back in time to the late 18th century, a time of conflict and triumph in early America. The Sturbridge Colonial Militia recreated the days leading up to the Revolutionary War with a variety of events, including a musket firing demonstration, fife and drum music, and displays of historical items. The event was presented by the Sturbridge Historical Society.

Pictured, from left to right, Sturbridge Colonial Militia members Blake Duzak, of Sturbridge, Dave Stanley, of Sturbridge, and Rudy Arn, of West Brookfield.
