Suhoski apologizes, Town Meeting completed

June 24, 2012
STURBRIDGE — The Annual Town Meeting reconvened on Monday, June 18, allowing residents to vote on the remainder of the articles on the warrant and all of the articles on the Special Town Meeting Warrant.

Prior to the commencement of the meeting, recently suspended Town Administrator Shaun Suhoski offered a public apology to his co-workers and residents for not living up to directives from the Board of Selectmen. The board has twice suspended him during executive session in the last two years, most likely due to excessive tardiness to work.

"I put the board in a difficult position where they had to impose discipline," said Suhoski, who received a handshake and a few quick words from Chairman Thomas Creamer after his apology.
