SOUTHBRIDGE — What a difference a year doesn't make in politics.

"I'm running in part because a lot hasn't changed since last year," said Lauren McLoughlin. "The issues that concerned me last year continue to concern me."

She's speaking about her candidacy for one of two seats on the School Committee, which she attempted as a write-in last year. This time she's on the June 26 ballot with incumbent Jack Jovan and fellow challengers LeAnn Pate and Kara Donovan, with whom she has been cooperatively campaigning. Incumbent David DiGregorio is also on the ballot, but announced June 12 that he does not want to be re-elected.
