STURBRIDGE — For the second time in as many years, Town Administrator Shaun Suhoski was suspended by the Board of Selectmen last week.

Suhoski's latest suspension, a three-day removal with pay lasting from 12 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12 to 12 a.m. on Friday, June 15, was handed down by selectmen during an executive session following their June 11 meeting. While Suhoski sat out, DPW Director Greg Morse served as the interim town administrator.

Describing the suspension as a personnel matter, selectmen declined to comment on their reason for suspending Suhoski. Some people speculated that it might involve his time of arrival at work, which previously landed him in trouble with selectmen. During Suhoski's first performance evaluation in December 2010, he was rebuked by selectmen for excessive tardiness at work and town meetings.
