Garden Club celebrates 75th anniversary

CHARLTON — Recent chilly rain couldn't keep Garden Club members indoors.

They braved the weather to sell plants from their very own gardens on the common at their annual plant sale, Saturday, June 2.

But what's a little rain when it comes to gardening? After it, "it's good for the plants," one of the members joked from under her umbrella.
