SOUTHBRIDGE — Just as cancer doesn't discriminate whom it strikes — afflicting the young, old, rich and poor all the same – neither do those who rise to fight it.

Next weekend adults will team up with kids and the healthy will join the sick, all unified by their connection to cancer and their will to find a cure, at the 15th annual Relay for Life of the Greater Southbridge Area.

The Relay will begin at 4 p.m. at McMahon Field on Cole Avenue on Friday, June 15, last through the night, and conclude with a closing ceremony at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 16.
