SOUTHBRIDGE — Coming soon, to a parish near you — the tantalizing tastes of the community.

The committee of the San Juan Bautista Festival is in the midst of organizing this year's newer, bigger, multi-cultural event – a feast of Spanish, Italian, French, and Polish foods. And a sampling of family-fun events, as well.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 23, on the grounds of Notre Dame Church on Main Street, the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Cooks from a variety of ethnic origins have already agreed to prepare and provide the best their cuisines have to offer. And cooks this year are also being encouraged to offer demonstrations at the festival of how to prepare their special foods, as an added fundraising effort.
