CHARLTON — While dozens of motorcyclists were out enjoying the perfect weather Sunday, May 20, cruising together on a ride organized by Rick Stearns, the man himself was stuck indoors, hustling around the kitchen cooking.

The ride and roast beef dinner that followed it, Sunday, May 20, was the Relay For Life team Hedgehogs' second annual motorcycle run, car cruise and truck extravaganza fundraiser.

"Somebody's got to do it," the Ed Stearns' Dressed Meats owner, who's so devoted to raising money for the American Cancer Society, it's practically his second job, joked about spending the morning cooking rather cruising. "We do the work, we raise the money. They have the fun."
