Bay Path students head to California for 'RoboGames'

CHARLTON — What do you picture when you think of a robot?

A walking, talking, human-like machine? Or maybe a giant Transformer-type destroyer?

How about a remote-controlled, silver square on wheels, built to smash another one to bits? That's what students from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School's robotics team recently brought to the RoboGames in San Mateo, Calif., where they placed fourth in the nation at the international competition.
