STURBRIDGE — It's encouraging to have advanced skills at a young age, and with each passing year Tantasqua Regional High School students seem to become increasingly skilled in various fields.

After another successful state conference for the Tantasqua SkillsUSA team, two students are headed to the national competition in Kansas City, Mo., this June.

More than 2,100 students representing 44 Massachusetts schools participated in the competition.
