BRIMFIELD — For Cosmo Casamassa, election to the Board of Selectmen would present an opportunity for him to listen.

Casamassa described listening to residents as the most important thing a selectmen can do, especially during difficult times when people are struggling with various issues. The last few years have frustrated Brimfield residents with an array of challenges, but Casamassa has always been there to lend a helping hand. Now he is hoping to be elected to a position that would allow him to positively impact even more people.

"My biggest objective is to listen to people and understand what they need," said Casamassa, who has been extremely active in tornado relief efforts over the last year. "As a selectman, I would make it a priority to always do my best to find the answers to the difficult questions."
