STURBRIDGE — The Sturbridge Senior Center will soon host the first cooking show of what will become a monthly series, with guest chefs visiting the center and preparing some of their best treats.

The premiere show will take place on Friday, April 13, at 12:30 p.m. It will be filmed and shown on the local cable access channel, and seniors are encouraged to watch Wanda Chamberland as she shows guests how to make delicious butterscotch cookies.

"Bruce Butcher came up with the idea for this show, and it is something we are all very excited about," said Sturbridge Senior Center Director Melissa Beauchemin.
