STURBRIDGE — Following her unanimous appointment on March 26, Erin Nosek is looking forward to leading the Tantasqua Regional and Union 61 school districts as their next superintendent.

Currently the associate superintendent for the Tantasqua Regional and Union 61 districts, Nosek will succeed retiring Superintendent Daniel Durgin on July 1.

Prior to entering the Tantasqua system, she was the superintendent in North Brookfield from 2005 to 2010 and before that the principal of Northbridge Middle School. She believes her experiences as superintendent in North Brookfield have prepared her well for this position, as do members of the committees that appointed her.
