April 01, 2012 CHARLTON — Of the 17 positions up for grabs at the May 5 annual town election just three will feature contested races.
The ballot will also include one question regarding town's would-be $3.4 million share of the proposed $73.8 million renovation project for Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School.
Four candidates are running for two three-year seats on the Board of Selectmen. The race for seat 1 pits Rick Swensen against Joseph Szafarowicz, while David Singer and John McGrath are running for seat 2.
