After nearly two years as Worcester County sheriff, Lew Evangelidis said he is continuing to work to protect the residents of South Central Massachusetts.

Evangelidis said one of the many ways he is giving back to the many local communities in his region is through the Face2Face program.

He said the presentation, of which he had done more than 40 visits across Worcester County, was designed to inform middle and high school students on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. His most recent stop was at Wachusett Regional High School in his hometown of Holden.
