Tantasqua board approves $19.5M spending plan

March 25, 2012
STURBRIDGE — At its meeting on Tuesday, March 20, the Tantasqua Regional School Committee approved a total operating budget of $19,516,699 for fiscal 2013, which will begin on July 1.

The budget represents a 0.9 percent increase from fiscal 2012's budget of $19,352,003, and it will be voted on at the Town Meetings of each of the five Tantasqua Regional School District communities.

The School Committee decision followed a public hearing at the junior high school during which Superintendent Daniel Durgin and district Business Manager Deborah Boyd outlined the details of the budget for interested residents and town officials.
