DUDLEY — With budget season in full swing, school districts still face the grim reality of closing budget gaps that have become increasing larger.

State Rep. Peter Durant, R-Spencer, held a second roundtable session for members of local school committees Thursday, March 22, at the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library in Dudley.

Durant has held three roundtables since becoming representative last year. The first was a meeting for local municipalities and the issues they were facing as towns. He said the second meeting was to get to know the needs of the local school districts in his region.
