Quirks in town's rules being examined

SOUTHBRIDGE — It's a stereotype that you don't want to see two things being made — sausages and law.

That might be true in some cases, but if you're concerned about how the town runs, knowing what its various commissions do might be a good idea.

That's why the Bylaw Review Committee was looking askance at something called the "Facilities Planning and Construction Committee" Tuesday night — the FPCC has its own section of the bylaws but no member had ever heard of it or of anyone being appointed to it.
