SOUTHBRIDGE — After at least two years of issues there, the town has started the process that will lead to demolition of the condominium building at 102-122 Mill St.

The place has been boarded up for a long time after former residents raised concerns about poor maintenance, accumulating trash, and other problems. In 2009, the town helped some of them find new homes and condemned the building after the landlords had not paid water bills for months, but problems continued. Most recently, a small basement fire occurred there a few weeks ago that's being investigated as arson.
