STURBRIDGE — For kidney transplant survivor Robin Lataille, participating in the Transplant Games of America is especially meaningful because it provides her an opportunity to demonstrate the importance of organ donation.

Only two and a half years removed from her transplant, this will already be Lataille's third appearance in the games (scheduled for this July in Grand Rapids, Mich.). Last year, she traveled all the way to Gothenburg, Sweden, to take part in the games, which alternate between a United States and world venue each year.
