CHARLTON — Dr. Seuss would have turned 108 on Friday, March 2, and the library held a birthday party for the author over the weekend. Families dressed in the most "Seussical" attire for the celebration, where kids read Dr. Seuss books, made puppets, and munched on Suess-y snacks like Cat in the Hat cookies and green eggs.

Pictured, with his blue hair, Jake Beaudette, 8, and pal Madison Poole, 9, were among some of the most festively dressed at the party.
