Variety of seats up for grabs in annual election

Singer, Swenson put in papers for re-election

March 07, 2012
CHARLTON — The Annual Town Election will take place Saturday, May 5, at Heritage School, and more than a dozen elected positions are up for grabs.

Two of those are seats on the Board of Selectmen, held by Chairman David Singer and Rick Swenson. Both have already submitted their nomination papers.

If re-elected, it would be the second term for Singer. He said he looks at the position as a way of "giving back" to a community he appreciates.
