STURBRIDGE — Officials from Treasure Hunters Roadshow moved on to their next destination over the weekend, but not before hundreds of residents had an opportunity to see their antiques and collectibles evaluated.

Treasure Hunters Roadshow (THR) visited Sturbridge from Tuesday, Feb. 21 to Saturday, Feb. 25, and they were able to translate quite a few items into cash for customers. Experts who set up shop at the Sturbridge Host Hotel became quite busy during the latter half of the week and the weekend, with wait times averaging over an hour on Saturday.

"The attendance was really phenomenal from Wednesday through the weekend. We were very happy with the number of people who came out to see what their items were worth," said Matthew Enright, THR's vice president of media. "It was a very successful show for us."
