Girl Scouts to host International Festival in Southbridge

SOUTHBRIDGE — Girl Scouts from the Central and Western Massachusetts Mills and Hills Service Unit will host their 40th annual International Festival on Sunday, March 11.

Lasting from 2 to 4 p.m. inside the Lasalle Reception Hall at Notre Dame Church, the festival will celebrate Girl Scouting around the world by allowing girls to demonstrate their knowledge of scouting traditions and practices in several foreign countries. The festival also kicks off the annual Girl Scout week, which will commemorate 100 years of Girl Scouting.

All area Girl Scouts in the are invited to join the Mills and Hills Service Unit in this celebration of scouting and culture. Admission to the festival is free, and it will be preceded by an ecumenical service at the Notre Dame Church featuring a special ceremony.
