SOUTHBRIDGE — In the past few days, two men were arrested for allegedly using cars as weapons.

The first happened a bit after midnight Monday morning, Feb. 13, right around the corner from the police station, when a call came in claiming a woman had been hit by a car.

According to the police report by Officer Chris Iozzo, he found the woman on the sidewalk with her "left side extremely sore" next to a car at the corner of Brochu Street with "front side damage." Initially, a woman claimed the car's driver had "tried to run over" the injured woman, but it later turned out she'd been a passenger injured when the car went over a curb rapidly.
