Residents who have upcoming plans to dine at a Piccadilly Pub restaurant in western or central Massachusetts will need to choose another establishment.

Massachusetts Pub Group, LLC, of Boston, has temporarily closed multiple Piccadilly Pub restaurants throughout the area, including locations in Sturbridge, Auburn, Worcester, Westborough, Marlborough, and West Springfield. No reason has been provided for the closings.

A notice on the door of the Sturbridge restaurant reads, "Piccadilly Pub restaurants have been temporarily closed. Currently, a date has not been set for a reopening. We apologize for any inconvenience. I'd like to thank each of you for your loyalty through the years and hope that we may have the chance to serve you again in the future."
