CHARLTON — The Southern Worcester County Regional Vocational School District Committee voted unanimously to appoint a subcommittee to interview candidates for Bay Path Regional Technical Vocational High School's superintendent position at their Monday, Feb. 6 meeting.

If the School Committee conducted the search process as a full 20-member body, interviews would have to take place in an open meeting setting. A subcommittee consisting of 10 School Committee members or fewer will allow the district to conduct interviews in executive session, which several members think will be key in the process.
