STURBRIDGE — After releasing a survey and holding a public forum, the Tantasqua Regional and Union 61 Superintendent Search Committee has received valuable input from residents, school officials and students.

A forum was held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, that included three meetings, one for school faculty members, another for administration, and a third for parents, students, and residents of the five towns that comprise the district.

"We got a ton of feedback about the characteristics that people want to see in the next superintendent, as well as areas of improvement for the district," said Search Committee Chairman Michael Valanzola, of Wales. "Meeting with administrators, faculty, parents, and students really allowed us to hear some great suggestions."
