Stuffed animal reuse 'gives them new life'

SOUTHBRIDGE — Almost everybody has old stuffed animals in boxes in their attic.

Sometimes they have personal meaning, like that childhood teddy bear. But often, they were gifts or collectibles that have lost their interest.

Sasha Thomas sees them as an opportunity to make something new, and she's looking for some for an upcoming "Misfit Pet" workshop at Jacob Edwards Library Tuesday, Feb. 21.
