STURBRIDGE — Eight Tantasqua Regional High School students will show how big their brains are at the sixth annual Central Massachusetts Regional Brain Bee in Worcester.

On Saturday, Feb. 4, TRHS seniors Emily Russo, Brooke Andrew, Corrie Molleur, Guy Zwiebel, Samantha Francis, and Samantha Foster will join juniors Austin Avanesian and Miranda Dry at the competition set to take place on the University of Massachusetts Medical School campus. Molleur and Zwiebel took part in the Brain Bee last year and are returning for their second year of competition.

"The Brain team is excited to compete this coming Saturday," said TRHS science teacher and Brain Bee team advisor Mary Duane. "This is the second year that Tantasqua has had a Brain Bee team, and the interest in the club has grown since last year."
