STURBRIDGE — Five Tantasqua Regional Junior High School eighth graders represented their respective towns well on Saturday, Jan. 14, traveling to Boston to participate in community service efforts as part of Project 351.

This is the second year TRJHS eighth graders have taken part in Project 351, which enables one student from each of the towns in Massachusetts to visit Boston and participate in community service. This year's Tantasqua student ambassadors — Griffin Moore, of Brimfield, Chineme Onwubueke, of Sturbridge, Jason Deforge, of Wales, Brittany Foley, of Holland, and Brytni Simmons, of Brookfied — each enjoyed their experience in Boston.

"We found out afterward that the 351 students who participated were able to help out more than 7,000 people," Moore said. "It's nice to know we were able to assist so many people."
