BRIMFIELD — It has been a difficult year for Hollow Brook Farms owners Ron and Linda Weston, but things are slowly beginning to look up.

Much of the Westons' Hollow Road property was destroyed by the June 1 tornado, costing them a significant amount of business. They are known throughout the area for offering sleigh rides, horse-drawn carriages for weddings, hay rides, and Christmas trees, but the EF 3 twister put a devastating halt to many of those activities.

And so began an arduous journey marked by much adversity.
