STURBRIDGE — The Tantasqua Regional Junior High School December Seniors of the Month were both heavily involved in extracurricular activities and community service during their tenures at the school.

Alyx Darger and McKenna Murphy, both of Sturbridge, became involved in a variety of activities upon arriving at Tantasqua. Darger, the president of the senior class, is also a member of the National Honor Society and Mock Trial. She was busy on the playing field as well, spending four years on both the school soccer and lacrosse teams.

"I have always been able to find something to do here at Tantasqua," Darger said. "I rarely go home right away after school, and I enjoy staying busy with different activities."
