STURBRIDGE — The Tantasqua Regional and Union 61 Superintendent Search Committee would like to invite members of the community to participate in the process of selecting a new superintendent.

Current Superintendent Daniel Durgin will retire at the end of the school year, and a committee was recently formed to search for his successor. Realizing that input from residents is an integral component of the process, committee members are offering several channels through which public comments and suggestions can be received.

"This is one of the most inclusive search committees I have seen in recent memory," said committee Chairman Michael Valanzola, of Wales. "We want to give people an opportunity to let their voices be heard and discuss what they want to see in a new superintendent."
