STURBRIDGE — Continuing its community-minded monthly tradition, the Publick House held a dinner on Monday, Jan. 16 to benefit two local organizations, the Patrick Donnelly Foundation, of Sturbridge, and the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.

Both organizations received $4 for every dinner served, which translated into a lot of funding courtesy of the dozens of guests who attended event. The dinner included two seating sessions and a buffet, and both the food and the hospitality were appreciated by Kathleen Johnson, who established the Patrick Donnelly Foundation in honor of her son.

"This was a wonderful gift from the Publick House," Johnson said. "They contacted me about this dinner two days after our basketball tournament was cancelled, which was a real blessing during a difficult time."
