SOUTHBRIDGE — Students celebrated academic achievement while inspiring through community service last week.

According to Mary E. Wells Middle School social studies teacher and National Junior Honor Society advisor Sheila Jalbert, the students she oversees in the club are not only serving themselves through their academic achievements, but are helping the greater community through the many service projects they take part in each year.

She said students chosen for the group are in seventh grade and must have a high GPA, while still taking the time to participate in extra circular groups.
