Percocet problems land duo in court

Southbridge women accused of stealing and faking scrips

December 14, 2011
SOUTHBRIDGE — Two local women were arraigned last week for allegedly stealing prescription forms from Harrington Hospital doctors and forging them to obtain multiple bottles of Percocet in recent months.

According to their Dudley District Court files, Lisa and Sheila McCray, of 657 Worcester St., were arrested Nov. 10 for incidents that happened during the summer. Lisa faces five counts of larceny, two counts of forgery, uttering a false prescription and conspiracy to violate drug laws, while Sheila faces five counts of uttering false scripts and conspiracy. If convicted, they could each face more than 20 years in prison.

Both pleaded not guilty and are free on personal recognizance.

Shiela's attorney, Michael Osowski of Southbridge, said he hasn't yet met with her, so "it's too preliminary at this point" to comment. Lisa's attorney, Ken Canty of Oxford, said he doesn't comment on active cases.
