SOUTHBRIDGE — To some teens, a cemetery is a place to run from as the police come.

Mike Caprera isn't one of them.

To him, Oak Ridge Cemetery's oldest section, with its numerous weathered and nearly anonymous graves, was a way to prove he had what it takes to become an Eagle Scout.

The 18-year-old was formally awarded that rank, Boy Scouting's highest, on Sunday, Nov. 20.
