SOUTHBRIDGE — After information tech staff at Schott stumbled across the alleged cache of child pornography on the company's server, police arrested Keith Bigness, 53, of 22 Hilltop drive on six counts of allegedly possessing the material.

He was arraigned on Monday, Nov. 14, and pled not guilty but is being held on $2,500 bail. His next court date is Dec. 13.

According to the police report by Detective Paul Stefanelli, his investigation has so far found "thousands of images and files" and he predicted "additional charges and information will be forwarded to the court" after he completes further investigation.

If convicted, Bigness faces five years prison time and/or up to $10,000 in fines per offense, and the law considers each image a separate offense. The report notes the material, which he describes as "nude young children in compromising positions," was allegedly found in August, when Schott staff showed some of it to officer Dean Bruneau and later provided it to the police on a flash drive.
