CHARLTON — The Fighting Irish are finding their own unique way to raise money for this year's Southbridge Relay For Life.

In their first year taking part in fundraising for the Relay, the Fighting Irish Relay team has teamed up with Donna Olson, who owns Designs By Donna Art Studio, to raise money for the event.

"We are selling dream catchers at Donna's shop and will be having a tag sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday [May 29] to raise money for the Relay," said Beth Dion, of the Fighting Irish. "We're going to be selling candy apples, chocolate covered pretzels at the Relay and painting faces too. And most of all, we are having our raffle at the Relay."

Their raffle is for "Fall in the Berkshires," where winners will have a week at the Oak 'n' Spruce Resort in South Lee.

The accommodations include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, two indoor pools and a mini-golf course. Six people can comfortably reside and it takes place from Friday, Oct. 7 until Friday, Oct. 14.
