May 11, 2011
WALES — The Wales Republican Town Committee ran a roadside clean-up of Monson Road in Wales on Saturday, May 7.

A group of volunteers started early in the morning and continued until 11 a.m. collecting two truckloads of trash, including the base of a wood stove, a 50-gallon drum, a toilet, a metal headboard, various pieces of scrap metal and over 30 large trash bags over a stretch of three miles. The Wales Republican group feels proud to have helped the Town of Wales in this way and hopes to continue this event in years to come.

The Wales Republican Town Committee will be hosting their summer Beer Tasting event at the Wales Irish Pub on June 11. To purchase tickets, contact the Wales Republican Town Committee at (413) 330-9701 or send an e-mail to chairman@walesgop.org.
