SOUTHBRIDGE — The Relay For Life, in association with the American Cancer Society, will hold the Relay Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the Southbridge Town Common.

The Fun Day is a precursor to the Relay and one of the key fundraisers for the year. One of the highlights of the show will be the band "Phase II."

"I have been individually contributing to benefits such as the Relay For Life for 18 years now," said Phase II lead singer Heather Peck-Ouellette. "With the band I am currently in, we have been involved with Relay events for the past eight years. Last year, we were one of the host bands for the Grafton Relay For Life. It's just something that we feel very strongly about contributing to. We try to use the gifts that we have and use them to help those who have not been as fortunate."

Phase II will also be the headlining band at the Relay For Life, which is scheduled to start on Friday, June 17 and goes into Saturday, June 18. The Relay is at McMahon Field at Southbridge High School.
