CHARLTON — Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School students are no strangers to helping their communities — and the most recent project the school is working on will directly affect Webster Senior Center members.

Senior Center Director Linda Slota said she was quite pleased to have students work once again on one of the repairs she was looking to have completed.

Slota said she recently sent more than 40 chairs over to the school so students in the Metal Fabrication and Joining Technologies department could help in fixing the joints in them, which over time have worn out.

Slota said she was happy with the quick response she received from the metal department, and said this was the second time students would be helping the senior organization.

"We have had electrical work done to the center a few years ago," said Slota. "They were great."
