STURBRIDGE — Bella Mia Salon & Spa will host "Cuts for a Cure" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, with all of the proceeds going to the Cancer Center at Harrington Hospital.

Haircuts will be $10, chair massages will be $1 per minute and hand massages with moisturizers will be $4.

"We've done a few charity events over the past few years," said Laurie DiMartino, owner of Bella Mia. "We hosted a Valentine's Day Ball at Oliver Wight Tavern at Old Sturbridge Village three years in a row. We donated the proceeds to the American Cancer Society, but last year, we donated to Harrington. We have many clients that use the facility, so we thought it was a good idea to give back locally."

To physically make themselves more well known, they hosted Cuts for a Cure on the lawn in front of their building at 35 Main St.

Although Harrington's Cancer Center does their share of promotion, DiMartino was the one that first contacted them.
