SOUTHBRIDGE — All aboard the Arc!

The Southern Worcester County Arc Center of Hope is hosting a bus ride across Massachusetts on Sunday, April 10. The ride will raise money to support the work Center of Hope does on behalf of people with developments and intellectual disabilities.

Their plan is to include more than 1,000 riders and to raise more than $1 million statewide. This will go toward the well being of 180,000 people living in Massachusetts with disabilities.

This fundraiser will include chapters of Arc from all corners of the Commonwealth. The day will end at the Hanover Theatre for Performing Arts in Worcester with a show.

Another major element of The Arc is their self-advocacy groups. They consist of a group of members that are working toward becoming more self-sufficient.
