Renaud named to Planning Board

Fills vacancy left by Ramirez

March 15, 2011
SOUTHBRIDGE — Michael Renaud was named to the Planning Board at a Town Council Meeting Monday night, March 14.

Based on the recommendation by Town Manager Christopher Clark, Renaud will fill the vacant seat left by Peter Ramirez. The term will expire on June 30, 2013.

Councilor Cathy Nikolla asked Chairman Steven Lazo as to why Renaud's address and phone number had been blacked out in his application. As the application is public record, town employees have their personal information removed. Councilor Larry Spinelli, who has been to two meetings since being elected last month, resigned from the Planning Board after winning the councilor seat.

In other business, the council voted to have voting for Precinct 2 moved from West Street School to the Community Service Center at 153 Chestnut St., where the four other precincts vote.
