Thanks to a collaborative effort between the Sturbridge, Southbridge and Ware Police Departments, authorities were able to locate 15-year-old Corey J. Huckins, who went missing Tuesday afternoon.

The Sturbridge Police Department received an anonymous call from the person that had picked up Huckins, who was walking on the side of the road, and brought him to Ware. The driver stated that he was told Huckins was older than 15.

"It is extremely likely that the driver became aware of the situation based on fliers that were distributed at Cumberland Farms and other convenience stores," said Sturbridge Police Department Lieutenant Mark Saloio. "We were very happy to locate the youth."

Saloio firmly reiterated that there was nothing criminal about the situation and that Huckins did not break any laws and the reason behind the large effort to find him was strictly based on his safety. No criminal charges will be filed against anyone, as no one in the situation broke any laws.
