March 08, 2011
STURBRIDGE — Amber Hillman and Brian Hrybyk, two natives of Sturbridge, invite residents to join them on Saturday, March 19 at a fundraiser to support Children's Hospital Boston.

The event will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. at TJ O'Brien's, and all proceeds will benefit Children's Hospital Boston. One month later, Hillman and Hrybyk will run the 2011 Boston Marathon as part of the Miles for Miracles Team, which raises money for local Children's Hospital Boston patients. Hrybyk will be participating in his fourth Boston Marathon, while this will mark the second time Hillman has taken part in the challenging event.

"Local business owners have been so supportive of this event," Hillman said. "We have had amazing luck collecting donations from restaurants and shops. We even received items from kind-hearted individuals in town who simply wanted to help and put together gift baskets to be raffled at the event."

The March 19 fundraiser will include a raffle and a silent auction. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10, and raffle tickets will be sold throughout the night so guests can bid on various donated items. Several gift certificates have been donated for the raffle and silent auction by such local establishments as, Churchill's Village Eatery, Napoli Pizzeria III, The Brier Patch, The Publick House, Kaizen, Rovezzi's Restaurant, the Sturbridge Host Hotel, Sturbridge Candies, The Green Thumb, the Sturbridge Candle Company, and many more.
