SOUTHBRIDGE — Police are investigating vandalism to dozens of stones in Oak Ridge Cemetery, some bearing names of well-known families in local history, such as Ammidown, Morse and Clemence. Some lie broken in half, some have parts knocked off, and others have been ripped from the ground entirely, leaving holes or revealing their hollow undersides. A whole section of older stones was overturned not far from the Oak Ridge Avenue entrance to the cemetery.
